Röko acquires a majority of Baymax

Röko AB has acquired 85% of the shares in Netherlands-based Baymax B.V. (Baymax), the holding company for Siderius Zeepfabriek B.V. and its subsidiaries (collectively “Siderius”).

Siderius is a manufacturer of cleaning detergents, bar soap, and branded cleaning products. The company’s roots can be traced back to the introduction of Ossengal Zeep 150 years ago and has been owned and managed by the current Managing Director, Bas Korswagen, since 2004. Mr. Korswagen will continue as MD and minority shareholder post-completion. Siderius has sales of MEUR 9.

Baymax is Röko’s third acquisition in the Netherlands and the 25th business unit that Röko has acquired since the company was founded in 2019.
